I was under the impression that "pies" referred only to Paiste cymbals, because the spelling looks like it should be pronounced pasty, and the nickname "pies" reinforced...

I think those could be collectable one day if you keep them original and nice, and I also think peeling them like K.O. did is fine too, either way, a sleeper kit for $700 bucks.

I really like those drums! Those tom mounts are boat anchors, but I like the way they look, and the shape of the main tube is a genius way to keep the whole tom assembly from twisting.
