Re: Ludwig Downbeat Drums

I forgot to mention that the kick is missing rail and cymbal mount. The holes are there if you want to add them.
I'm also interested in looking at pretty much any players kit, so don't hesitate to...

I'm considering selling this Ludwig downbeat kit in a red sparkle finish. It's definitely a players kit. Here are the issues....
The 12,14 have been re-wrapped, they are both missing keystone...

Re: Red Sparkle Goodness

Like I said, there are original holes for a rail and cymbal mount. The previous owner cut a hole in the kick to accommodate a double tom holder and to make it worse, they put it too close to the...

Re: Zildjian Vintage 14'' Hats

I don't know the weight, all i can tell you is they are thinner than New Beat hats. The bottom cymbal is slightly thicker. They're very mellow, I'll get a picture of the stamp by tomorrow evening.

Re: Ludwig 14x14 Floor Tom

I understand, I don't do much restoration, in fact I hate restoring drums. I don't mind imperfections, although I have re-wrapped a few drums.
When I first saw your post, I thought it waa a legit...

Re: Red Sparkle Goodness

This kit never had a hole for a double tom mount, I think it was originally a Downbeat. There are holes for a rail and cymbal mount.

Re: Wasn't sure which forum to post this in.

I think there are two possibilities.
1 The seller was in a hurry and just didn't notice, because no other words were mis-spelled.
2 It was done deliberately to draw attention to the add. If that's...

Re: Ludwig 14x14 Floor Tom

I think I'm being played. Violin

I love red sparkle, I wish the previous owner hadn't removed the badges on the 12, 13 and 14.
He told me he no longer had them.
Anyway, here it is set up in the Downbeat configuration and with...
