Hey, Hey, we're The Monkees! I loved watching that show. He survived cancer for ten years, he's in God's hands now.

Re: Carl Palmer

It was obviously recorded with a small camera. I thought it was interesting, like being on the stage while he performed.

Re: Anyone else get disheartened at all the greed in the vintage drum market?

I see people locally doing the same thing and guess what? They don't sell. Don't blame capitalism, without a free market there would be nothing to choose from. Grocery stores or chain stores have a...

Re: Tommy P

If you're going to claim to be able to out play Buddy on the hats and kick, you'd better be able to back it up, otherwise it means nothing.

Re: Tommy P

Wait a minute! You're saying you can play the hats and kick better than Buddy? I'd have to see it to believe it, post a video.

Re: Favourite era for Ludwig shells

I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with you. My Classic Maple kit has a better tuning range and more projection. They have a warm sound like vintage Ludwigs, but have a better stick response.

Nobody can play like Buddy! The closet guy I've seen is Dick Cully and even he can't match Buddy's speed.

Rogers Red Onyx Drums

I'm offering up this Rogers kit in a red onyx finish once again. The drums have cracks in the wrap and some bubbling on the bottom of the kick. The shells are in great condition, there are no extra...

Re: Rogers Fullerton, good or not?

I'm curious why someone would write a book on Rogers drums and not have all the correct information.

Re: Vintage Rogers Drum set/late 60's BLUE ONYX-Maple

I know anyone can ask whatever they want, but what would make this a $3,900 kit? Maybe I'm missing something. Not trying to knock you, just trying to figure out your reasoning.
