There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that era tom mount found on RB kits. That style was the strongest (best) of the several dual styles that followed... also the drums will sould just like any...

By the 1960s & 70s W&A was still a very small East cost drum manufacture that produced some musical instruments for...

Camco (Oaklawn era) offered this as a cymbal attachment during the 1960s. Nothing special just a alternative to keep you from drilling your beloved K cymbals.

Hands down... the most common drum wrap for just about every vintage American drum manufacturer (from 1950 to 1970'ish) is BLACK DIAMOND PEARL (BDP).
