Re: Playing (preying) on the nostalgia factor........

I do agree with the statements by both ATeam and jbohan6. My personal take is that there are still plenty of drummers out there who do have the money for a new "vintage-style" kit. While I do love my...

Re: Slingerland Cordova

Slingerland really did offer some unique wraps! While we all have different tastes, I'm sure we can all agree that Slingerland was pretty bold to offer these wraps! From a strictly collectible point...

Re: Rogers Holiday Set question.

Hockeydude!

You probably did the right thing by selling it to someone who has the experience to deal with all the issues. I'm sure it went to a good home and the new owner, hopefully, will give it...

Re: Is Steve Maxwell still making reproduction parts?

Hi V!

Steve sells his parts exclusively on Reverb for some time now. Just type in "maxwell" and you'll see his items. I don't see any of the Ludwig rail parts, though.

Re: Kit Made of marching snares (as toms) and marching bass drum???

I converted a Rogers 12x15 marching tenor drum into a floor tom, for use with my 1966 Headliner kit. I really like 15" floor toms!

Re: Ludwig Classic Lugs-Different Sizes on Toms?

I can't say for sure if the 60's Giant Beat cymbals had that coating. Let's see if any others here may know about this.
