Hey thanks for saying. It's a kick to hear an old drum again after who knows how long it's just sat. It could have easily ended up on the scrap heap.

No that is just the natural aged maple on the shell and I've had new maple hoops made until, if ever I find period correct ones. All the wood is raw at the moment so, well 'yes' it might...
