1/4" cymbal stand/arm

Re: Leedy re-wrap

More photos. The rewraps came out OK. I have a couple of trap rail cymbal mounts. Were 1940s Leedy cymbal arms 1/4" in diameter? Modern arms are too big.

The blue pearl snare is a 6.5 X 15...

Re: 1941 Leedy floor tom

Thank you for the information. I was afraid this tom was "trimmed" or it was a converted marching drum.

1941 Leedy floor tom

Did Leedy make a 14 X 16 (diameter) floor tom? Mine is stamped 4-41. Unpainted interior. Also stamped "FOR PEARL" and "Sep. T". What does Sep. T mean? Thanks

Here are photos of cleaned BD wrap and refinished hoops with new insert. Offers a good comparison of old and new wrap.

Re: Leedy re-wrap

I paid too much for the kit in the first place. The Leedy name, 28" bd, and trap rail sucked me in. I will never break even. Expensive lesson for this novice.

The Precision wrap just needs some...

Re: Leedy re-wrap

Jeff,

Rewrapping all was always an option. Adding the expense of rewrapping the BD (28") would make total rewrap cost about $400-500. Ouch. Unfortunately, I do not have any "before" photos. I...

large Leedy beavertail lugs

I am looking for at least 4 Leedy lugs for a 1941 16 X 14 floor tom. Chrome or nickel. Will consider purchasing more than 4. Thanks for your help.

Leedy 28" BD hoops

Most of the photos I see of 30s and 40s Leedy BDs, especially with trap rails, the hoops are finished in natural wood. Is this how they came from the factory? Mine are in rough shape and the WMP...

I just acquired a 1940s Leedy 3pc with trap rail. Probably paid too much. Had to remove aftermarket Gibralter tom holder and rail. Extra holes in base and tom. I am looking for a Leedy heavy...
