Zildjian flat top ride cymbal & Swish (w/ rivets)

I'm selling a 20" Zildjian A Flat Top Ride and a 20" Zildjian A Swish (with 6 rivets). Both appear to be from the 80's era. Both sound great and have no cracks, dents, or key-holing.

Tone control for 80's ten-lug Supraphonic?

I picked up a 5x14 supra for a nice price, but it's missing the tone control/muffler. I'm assuming the design of these TCs changed over time, so I'm wondering which ones would serve as suitable...

Looking for a 'vintage' snare

My otherwise lovely old Sonor has a tentative stainer as a result of some unfortunate damage. And while it's holding for now, I do need another snare. I only have about $150 to spend, but can...

Re: Rare Sonor strainer, part 2: the repair.

Well, thanks for passing on the info, Oddball. I would not have known about the superfluous gasket otherwise.

It's nice to have a normal sounding snare again.

Thanks to the helpful responses in a previous thread, I decided to attempt a repair of the busted strainer/throwoff on my old Sonor snare. The first attempt failed, as the adhesive couldn't withstand...

Re: Help replacing rare throwoff/strainer on old Sonor snare

Oddball: Nope. Wasn't me. I had no idea it had an additional and improper part.

Wouter: is that a strainer adapter? I'm afraid I can't read German.

Bickie: I may go with the single stick...

Re: Help replacing rare throwoff/strainer on old Sonor snare

*Maybe.* The bottom of the cover is in bad shape, and seems pretty essential to a properly working throw/strainer. The whole darn thing came apart today, so now it's a matter of reassembling the...
