Re: Shoutout to MLayton, Cochlea , DeansDrums59 and Drumguy1988

Welcome to the OBP club. I know how long you've been searching for a matching 14x22 bass drum to complete your kit. I'm glad you were able to find a 3-piece kit so that you didn't have to wait any...

Source for rubber tips for 60's Ludwig bass drum spurs

My vintage Ludwig Super Classic came with bass drum spurs that retract into the shell (as opposed to the gull wing spurs that are much more common during that era). The ends of the rubber tips have...

Re: 64 Ludwig Downbeats Black Oyster, but which snare?

Re: Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl Downbeat

Congrats on the new kit! I was fortunate to get a hold of my holy grail kit, a '65 Ludwig Super Classic in oyster black pearl, late this past summer. It's strange because for the first time I can...

Re: Acrophonic? Supralite?

Interesting. Did the original owner say they bought it this way new or is there a chance they swapped out the bow ties for imperials later on?
