I got the label damp, smoothed it out, and put it in a book to dry and it looks great. I just need to figure out what kind of adhesive to use when gluing it back in.

Long time no posts but here is the finished restore. I will likely store the snares that came with the drum and buy some new snares sometime soon. Still not sure if I will play it or simply use it...

Yeah the shell is super thin, there are some cracks inside where it was bent to create the bearing edge. I would guess is is 1mm or less.

Reparing Paper Labels

Any tips on repairing wrinkly paper labels? Mine is cureld up like a leaf and I want to get it flat again so I can glue it back inside the drum. My only thought is steam but that might damage it.
