3 choices, sandblast and polish to a shine, sandblast and re-chrome however that is very expensive or sand, paint the center bead and cut strips of wrap for the top and bottom. I painted the bead...

Go to your local used drum store and pick 10 or 12 used lugs with the right length of spring inside, they usually have them at $1 each and you will have spares.

In your opinion why did Bonham start playing vistalites?

He went from wood to acrylic, Why do you think? Or was it Ludwig that said that he should use clear drums??

i picked up this little clubdate kit all original 9.5/10. 20-12-14, there aren't too many in this kind of condition. i need to give it a bit of love and shine it but it looks good as is....

Tough if you don't color the inside because you have to use tape or glue that will show through. Plus plastic over the original wrap will give you problems with the heads because of the thickness.

Make your own wrap, i bought clear lexan sheets 4 x 8' high gloss for $20 each and i painted the interiors and added some sparkles. Total cost for the whole kit $35.

I am a huge fan of 3 plies obviously but this one is soooo boomy with an emad coated on the batter side and a latex painted ambassador on the reso side. Nothing inside the drum obviously..

Double sided carpet tape works good, no fumes, no mess and should you want to de-wrap the kit, it is super easy.
