I am with you on that, stick control absolutely is a must. But did you ever think to remove all your cymbals for a few days? I have done that and it gives you a whole new perspective behind the kit...

Maybe but that was probably the ultimate set up for the tv show's sound. Plus the kit was never featured on the show that i know of. I maybe wrong though.

2 rides on the right low and flat but enough angle to be able to crash them and a crash on the left low and angled a bit more for the same reason.
