Wrong...In case of international shipments (and the drums come from Canada if I'm not wrong) the buyer CANNOT initiate the claim, only the seller.

With proper protection, this should not happen : everyone knows the dangers of shipping, and should protect the drums accordingly.

I have sent drums via mail only once and you could have dropped...

As I said before, in case of damage, the goods should be returned to the sender at the sender's expense, the goods reimbursed then the sender makes his own claim to get his money back from the...

Why not use paint remover / stripper ? It's on chrome, you don't risk much. Even on wood, it's pretty safe.

Could not find any Novus plastic cleaner : apparently, it's not imported in Canada. Will do with some plastic cleaner for automobile I found at the hardware shop.
