I have a 5x14 Ludwig Pioneer in a mahogany finish. It's complete and has brass hoops.
I'm looking for a 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic or a Leedy snare.
Thanks.

Leedy Gig

I'm really starting to dig this little Leedy kit. I can't say it's the best sounding kit I've had or the coolest, but there's just something about it that inspires me to play better.

Re: My first vintage set

You spent $404 on what looks like a fairly clean kit with hardaware and cymbals. How much is shipping?

Re: My first vintage set

That's a cool kit, I love the satin flame finish, but you really need to make sure they pack those babies correctly. If they don't know how to, pay the extra cash and have Fedx do it for them.

Re: One Way Out With Ludwig

That's a 6.5x14 Ludwig Classic Maple, it's my main gigging snare. It's very versatile and it sounds great at any venue, big or small.

I appreciate that, but I'm a lot older than you think, my claim to fame has long flown by.

Re: One Way Out With Ludwig

Ha, thanks, but I not on the same level as those guys. It's a fun song to play and I get a little solo, the crowd really helps with the hooting and hollering.Stage Band2

Re: Dirty R&R

I was remembering the old SNL skit with Billy Crystal, "I'm from Jersey, are you from Jersey?"
Anyway, no comments about the video? I can take a little abuse, bring it on!
