Re: Ludwig Psych red on reverb

Re: Ludwig Psych red on reverb

I believe he is referring to the one on the TOP of the bass drum.
Club Dates did not have this so it was added making this kit unoriginal, adding extra holes & no where near what this dreamer is...

Re: Wrap issues on possible buy

Exactly. And I passed on them. Made offer without snare too.
The tom issue not disclosed in listing either. Way too HIGH in my book for a kit with any issues.
Have at em..

Wrap issues on possible Psych Red buy

Have a chance to grab these.
These are the only 2 issues.
Slight seam separation on tom.
Small crack in bass drum.
Repairable?
22/13/16
price seems fair considering the condition which is very...

Re: Drum Companies and Their Worst Ideas

I can't be the only one who hates using the drum key on old Rogers drums for everything..
Yeah, I love the Swivo stuff but ever drop one when setting up?
PITA!!

Re: 14x14 Ludwig Super Classic early 60's floor tom???

WOW.
Man that kit is beautiful.
What I have come to find over the years of collecting/playing is that when it comes to Ludwig's manufacturing methods ANYTHING is possible.
Especially back...

Re: Question for Slingerland Folks

Thanks Mark.
Price is up there for a 3 piece. No floor tom.
22/12/5.5x14
Wrap looks decent but that coin & not seeing in person deter me.
And you know what the odds are for finding a FT.
Yes,...

Re: Question for Slingerland Folks

That's what I was hoping to see. These drums are dated 61 inside. Thank you all.
Obviously if good coin will be spent it better be all original.

Question for Slingerland Folks

Would a 1961 Swing Master Outfit (see pic) have a cymbal arm mount next to (above) the badge on the bass drum?
(similar to the early Ludwig club date bass drum ones)
