I like a whole host of drummers but buddy for me No 1. Also i read that he broke his arm yrs ago not sure of year and didnt have time off still played the gig one handed. Id love to see a vid of that...

Morgatto ive just been in touch with nick hopkins he has a red two point damper 1960's. Not cheap but absolutely very rare and hard to find. He ships worldwide so its a good idea to buy a few things...

I dont have any red ones. I have the white ones but they are all for a complete 1963 BDP kit i have nearly finished. Ill look out for you. They do crop up on ebay.

The 2 point round dampers were from the 60's then late 60's early 70's replaced by the square damper. The red 2 point damper came before the white ones. Ive mainly seen the red ones in snare drums....

The snare looks definitely MIJ. For the money you cant go wrong even using it as a snare to chuck around a rehearsal room. Did you ask seller if it was brass or steel shell. Probably steel shell....

Im in the UK and Tristan at Drumattic has loads plus Nick Hopkins has a load of slingerland rods // parts. I just bought 8 rods for a snare im renovating. Im sure they have tom rods aswell.
