you just did not understand how to use the hardware.... their foot pedals were always crap but their swivo hardware was and still is the very best hardware ever made with the most adjustments you...

swivo spurs give it away someone added the bass drum mount looks like a 69 or 70's kit depending on the tags will say holiday if 69 and powertone if later..

Double bass drums are the only way to fly, example 2 floor toms do you want them both the same? and same tuning? NO 14x14 and 16x16 or 16x18 that works so do two different bass drums preferably...

Gary good for you.... just enjoy it and keep on doing it I am 64 and for my 60th birthday I ran a 1/2 marathon in 2 hours I love to run but since contracting liver disease I don't run long distance...

The Tophat to the very best of my knowing was not made in the Dayton Era it was a 14x20 with the dogbone double tom holder 2 8x12's and a 16x16 with a extra knobby mount near the top for a stick tray...

Rogers folks here is a very rare drum..

a real Dayton 14x26 virgin in red onyx..... you very rarley see a 14x26 Rogers drum and the ones I have seen are all Fullerton... but this one is I think a bit spendy....
