The "beaded" Ludwigs with aluminium shells were either Acrolites or Supraphonic's. The "vintage supraphonic's" that were chromed are usually very pitted... Do lots of googling & you will soon learn...

Maybe try some kitten car wax on a very soft and "eternally clean" damp cloth.. just follow instructions off the bottle... If that's no go,,, then Novus should do some good...

RCA plugs were originally designed to connect modular turntables to integrated amps.. Via shielded Coaxial Cable.... Shielded audio cable is not recommended for speaker connection.
