Looks like champagne sparkle to me. I think that other than slight differences batch to batch all champagne sparkle offered around the same time period would be very much alike.

Is the bass a converted 16" floor tom? It's hard to tell from the pictures what color the finish is. Nice score.

The purple color is before fading. The flakes fade to gold and silver when faded.
