Re: 60s Brazilian Drums "PINGUIM"

Great sounding drums and I absolutely love the wrap. I enjoyed hearing you play, we don't get a lot of videos of the members showcasing their kits. The tom mount looks like a hybrid of the...

I remember seeing Billy Cobham using a few of these back in the 70's
Always wanted one due to their coolness as well as the fantastic projected sound they make. One day . ....

Bummer !
I remember playing along to so many of the Partridge Family songs when I was learning to play the drums. Never really paid attention to the kits back then . . . Yes a groovy wrap.

Mine is a 9-piece Gretsch kit that I patched together by hunting down the various size drums with matching wrap. I had a similar kit in HS that was a Gretsch set in Blue Sparkle.
I don't get to set...

Re: TDR 100 Marching Snare Drum

Welcome to the forum. Can you post a picture? Sounds like the gut holder is in the way not allowing proper contact of the snares, possibly a simple adjustment. Typically the gut snares make...

Re: Vintage Drum Values and Current Market

IMHO, I think the market bears what the true vintage collector is willing to pay for a specific drum or set. Some of the true gems do get a very high price, but of course I am preaching to the...

Re: Rogers Mardi Gras... help

I personally would pick it up. That finish is really tough to come by, however it would also depend upon how much the seller is asking and what's included. You can restore small holes without...

Re: Trump can't make this stuff up.

Nice snare kenwood, I like the wrap.
I noticed the same lack of a grommet on my Del Rays and Normas. Figured it was an easy way to cut costs for the mfg.
i did bid on a few Trump's due to the...
