Re: Help with Slingerland Champagne Sparkle

Hi rusticdrummer!

The serial number provided points to around 1968. As to a specific catalog model, that can be tough. However, looking at the catalog 69, for model year 1968, my guess is that...

Funny Post But true! I've packed and shipped many kits over the years. Being "older" now, the entire packing process just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I have one kit that I packed up some months...

Re: $10 vintage Ludwig snare?

Mr.Toast! I'm re-posting the pictures for you.

K.O. is correct about the year. And, yes, probably a cut-down marching snare or tom. Still, how can you go wrong for $10?!! You did good!

Re: Value of Rogers Bongos

Powertone is correct with his assessment. Sizes are most likely 6" and 8". Condition is everything in determining value. As stated, the biggest issue will be obtaining bongo heads!

Re: Snare drum unknown brand?

Re: Tell Me About Shelbyville Slingerlands

Way to go, Mark! It looks like a really fine Stage Band kit! I love the Maroon/Brass "shelbyville" badges and the solid oak re-rings.
