Several years ago, I saw a 22/13/16 also in Thermogloss finish that was exactly the same (spurs, etc) so, I never thought...

Hands down... the most common drum wrap for just about every vintage American drum manufacturer (from 1950 to 1970'ish) is BLACK DIAMOND PEARL (BDP).

However some 50/60+ years later and was made...

From what I've read... "Thermogloss" was a Ludwig trade name for the heated process they used to apply the clear coat on natural maple finish shells...

Not many of these 1960s keystone kits were...

Nice walnut Gretsch drum set to play and enjoy... (*note) take a very close look at your RB badge on the bass drum... see how small the vent hole is... well that's not the correct badge type for a RB...

A beautiful Oaklawn gold sparkle 18/12/14 bop kit with matching Aristocrat snare drum.

The rims are the tall COB style and the shells are all 6ply with white painted interiors. The original W&A...

After many hours of cleaning & polishing the wrap and getting both bass drum hoops restored she is finally finished and ready to play!

I'm totally satisfied how everything turned out.

Yes she's definitely a classic 1960s Gretsch kit... but interestingly enough this RB kit was built without a Pratt Muffler which, I think is pretty cool... because nobody actually uses them anyway.

A quick search around the net found a snare drum that looks pretty much like your drum that just sold recently. The current auction results here should help you with value, etc. Good luck.

Yes, I was very subjective with my comment about silver sparkle but unfortunately sometimes a wrap color or a faded wrap color can mean a lot.
