Exactly, the only thing you could do if you alter it, is use it as a stacker/ effect cymbal but that is pretty boring IMHO. Good luck.

Very nice...I also like to make my own wrap. I found a place near me that sells 4'x 8' sheets of super glossy plastic for $17. I then paint one side and wrap each drum using double sided tape. Here...

14"x 22" with a crack on the bottom that was repaired with fiberglass. That forced me to put a super thin blanket inside the BD to hide the scar. Plus the FT was a CT so because it is 14"x 16", it...

I am with you on that, stick control absolutely is a must. But did you ever think to remove all your cymbals for a few days? I have done that and it gives you a whole new perspective behind the kit...
