"Y" suffix indicates the newer YESS mount toms. On those, the air hole was moved from the badge to the shell, near the batter head. So there should never be a YESS mount drum with an air-hole badge...

Ah, yes Clubdate... Banished to the basement with loads of "soft crap" on every surface...

That never really changes- still in the basement but my Drumgeon (tm) is a bit more refined now.

I mixed my blue and black drums for one gig. It was pretty cool since it’s black n blue. I wanted/needed a compact kit but since this was an open situation I needed to provide something more diverse...

Get a foam pad covered in microfiber for application. 99% of the world applies WAY too much wax. Buff it off with...

Dish soap, warm water and a soft tooth brush. WD-40 is, well, crap. Good for drying your distributor cap.

Get some white lithium grease at the bike shop if you don't have any. If you need to wash...

I restored one of these decades ago for my drum teacher. That one was black lacquer. It came out great...
