I dont think that is an authentic slingerland. The shell construction is odd. It should have re rings or be five ply. It could possibly be a spirit three ply without re ring shell or the dreaded...

Toward the end of the company they stopped making drums and imported a Tama product that was sold under their name. They are actually quite decent drums although the hardware was prone to stripping....

Nice. What did you do with the original wires? They are unique both in the weight of the wire and that they extend beyond the bearing edge hence the bridges on the orignal strainer and butt plate.
