Rogers R-360

Not really familiar with these shells. Are they decent, worthy drums or another attempt to make money off the "Rogers" name? They are inexpensive when they show up, but so are a lot of other drums

Re: CB, or Westbury vintage

Don't mean to annoy the drum snobbies here, but this traditional size Westbury jazz kit is quite remarkable, as is the 6 lug snare drum...esp the snare drum! Played a gospel 6 song set, and it...

Re: Premier Olympic Snare Drum Questions

Both my drums are 8 lug, slotted rods, and early 70,s....however, I swapped one of them for square rods just to mix it up. I don't break drum heads, and I kept the slotted rods...….don't ever get rid...

Re: CB, or Westbury vintage

Answer;; Westbury, hands down. Solid shells, nice detail, no glaring flaws, traditional sizes, tight wrap etc
Weakness; hardware, not the best, but very few had solid stands back then...even the 6...

Re: Latest Score: Stewarts In Orange/Gold

I,ve seen many Stewies on professional stages over the years, and only drummers know the difference, well, some think they do. They sound fabulous!
They sounded every bit as good as anything...

Rare...true, but worth 900-1100 bucks?..would you pay that because you need to complete your kit, or because it sounds like no other floor tom?

Re: Zildjian ZXT Titanium hats

I will agree for the most part, and I would never buy them for myself, but I personally don't put hats at the same level of importance as rides or crashes. As long as they sound ok I can accept that....
