Re: Assembly of the "new" Dynasonic

The Swivomatic mounts were the best you could get at the time hence they showed up on all sorts of big name sets/players.

Re: Picked up some Ludwig Drums for $100...what do I have?

Looks like they added those slot style mounts to work with the MIJ bass drum tom mount. Ludwig did have that style mount for concert toms in the 70's, but those don't look the same to me...

Re: Rogers local find

Oh, nice Rogers set too Manny :)

Re: Slingerland Capri Pearl

Paypal protects both buyers and sellers. If I was a buyer I would insist on paying the added 3.8% for full buyers protection, I wouldn't use their friends/family option unless I know the seller. As a...

Re: Paiste 602

Someone close to my area is also selling some old 602 14'' hats for 300. I have a pair of 60's 602 14'' hats and their sound is very unique. Been looking for a 60's 602 ride to go with them...

Re: Rogers Dynasonic wood snare drum

Plough, these were all USA - I could not find that Japan located BB to add into my data, but I think it was back in August or so with a BIN under 900?

Re: 1972/80 Pearl B4514 "Stewart Copeland"

I have both depths as well in the correct series, not Jupiter - great COB snares. I like my 5x14 more than my 7 line Tommy :)

Re: Ludwig Jazzette - How many exist?

Speak of the devil - one just popped up on Reverb for only $2500 + shipping.

Somewhat tempted myself, bucket list item but I don't think they are as rare as only 30-50 sets world wide. Jazzbo's...

Re: FS: '65 Rogers wood Powertone snare Black Diamond Pearl, Cleveland

I paid 425 shipped private sale for a minty super clean PT in WMP recently. Right now the more common wrapped PT's are not $500 drums unfortunately, maybe prices will rebound in the future...

Great price with that PT snare, even with some fade or slightly mismatched, who cares! They will probably ship too - http://www.alphaaudioworks.com/

Re: Champagne Sparkle Rogers Holiday 20/12/14 w/Matching Powertone

I buy from other flippers knowing what they scored something for, even if they beat me to something, if it's priced right for the consumer then it's priced right! Have to remember that $800 for this...
