I know it was online at some time in the last 15 years because I printed it out. But of course I threw it away a few years ago while cleaning the room DOH

I've looked, all I can find is the modern...

Looking for repro Ludwig keystone badges

Not for drums but I'd like them to look as authentic as possible. I've heard of them being made but I don't know where to look. Hopefully some of you fine folks can point me in the right direction,...

Re: Vintage Ludwig Stand Rivets

You don't need new rivets, all you need is a solidly mounted vise with a flat surface & a ball peen hammer. Put the flat side down on the vise & whack the rivet a few times until it's tight again....

Re: What's wrong with this CL ad?

What gets me is the guy is claiming that it's a Radio King when the badge clearly says Leedy. Also this: "This is essentially a Slingerland Radio King snare. It's from the same factory, with the same...

Re: What's with Acrolite (and Blackrolite) prices?

I picked up a clean 2000 Blackrolite 2 years ago for $120, thought that was a reasonable price.

Re: Ludwig tom bracket and floor tom bracket spacing/positioning?

That'll teach me to post before my 3rd cup of coffee :D Of course a 12" concert tom would have the large lugs.

What's the story behind this drum?

I know that's Remo Belli, I seem to vaguely remember something about the drum being built for Disney, would love to get the story :)

Re: Ludwig tom bracket and floor tom bracket spacing/positioning?

I believe that had you used the small lugs you wouldn't have had to stagger them.

Re: Ludwig or Rogers.

Be careful with 90s Ludwigs, the Imperial lugs of that time have a problem with the screw bosses breaking off, I speak from experience.

Re: Ludwig P-88/P-35 vs Blackrolite

To heck with it, I really don't want to hassle with it, even though I have the tools. I'll save it for a possible future project.

Ludwig P-88/P-35 vs Blackrolite

So I decide that the new strainer/butt would be a good upgrade for my '00 Blackrolite that I use with my Breakbeats.

Get it in the mail & start to put it on, well, this ain't gonna work...

The...

Re: Ludwig snare wires

Many years ago my Acrolite had the plastic end snares. I had a house gig so my set didn't move & one night I noticed my snare drum sounding weird. It wasn't until a week later that my wife took a pic...

Re: Production numbers for Ludwig Acrolites?

I've seen people asking $400-500 for ordinary 60s-70s Acros which I think is outrageous, at least here in the US (I hear they may go for that other places, understandable if they're rare in those...

Production numbers for Ludwig Acrolites?

I've seen CL & other ads for Acrolites with the claim "Very Rare!". My reaction is "They've been making them since 1962, they sold them in bulk to music stores who then rented & sold them, they sold...

Re: Fibes Drums

I had a pre-Martin Fibes 14, 13, 16, 22, COF but I didn't use the snare, preferring the pre-'68 Super-Sensitive that I had, the Fibes snare was stolen & I sold the set to buy the 68 Big Beat I used...

Re: Why do people dent your heads ?

Do you mean "divot"? That's a golf term & doesn't apply to drums, though I suppose you could use it to mean "dent".

Why would you be proud of being able to destroy heads? When they're dented they...
