Morgatto ive just been in touch with nick hopkins he has a red two point damper 1960's. Not cheap but absolutely very rare and hard to find. He ships worldwide so its a good idea to buy a few things...

I dont have any red ones. I have the white ones but they are all for a complete 1963 BDP kit i have nearly finished. Ill look out for you. They do crop up on ebay.

The 2 point round dampers were from the 60's then late 60's early 70's replaced by the square damper. The red 2 point damper came before the white ones. Ive mainly seen the red ones in snare drums....

The snare looks definitely MIJ. For the money you cant go wrong even using it as a snare to chuck around a rehearsal room. Did you ask seller if it was brass or steel shell. Probably steel shell....

The strainer to me looks original for the drum. snare wires not original but still do the job. To get the correct snare wires either hunt some down on ebay or have them made. Great looking drum.
