Re: Ludwig black beauty 79 / 80 advice

Yes they look to be fairly rare especially the pointy badge, I saw one add asking $3000+ Canadian.

Re: Ludwig black beauty 79 / 80 advice

Nice 6.5×14, and pointy badge, nice drum, looks like they go for anywhere between $900-$1200 Canadian ($530-$710 pounds). I can't see that being a fake
How much are they asking?

Re: Old Ludwig’s

Well then I would put them together and see what they sound like before you do anything, even sanding, the old Ludwigs may surprise you. Sometimes the rough old shells are the charm of the old...

Re: Old Ludwig’s

Are you sure of the measurement of the bass? I've never seen a 20 with 10 lugs.
The kit doesn't seem too bad, the split in the bass bearing edge looks to be between the shell and re-ring so some...

Re: Correct width and finish for Keystone Ludwig Bass Hoops
