This kit is listed locally... I think it's a Pro Beat kit with a ?6.5 Dynasonic? Can't tell but they state "oversized"... I don't see a bridge so not sure. I appreciate your thoughts!

My vote is rewrap... agree w/ macr0w... that grommet isn't original and the wrap doesn't look correct.

I'm new as well... just soaked rusted parts from a Gretsch 4157 snare overnight in combo of CLR and The Works as seen on a YouTube video. Worked great! Started w/ vinegar but wasn't good enough.

Ha! Yes, indeed! So, as a newbie (and one that is not a fixer upper) what would you do for the wrap? Rewrap? Is there anything else? What is the easy fix approach?

Thanks! I am amazed that it not only supports the tom but feels as solid as a separate stand. Definitely quality stuff coming out of the era!

I called today and they're not for sale at this time... FYI it's 2112 Percussion in Raleigh. I'm going to try and check them out in person to at least get a glimpse.

I found a gibraltar cymbal arm and filed down the sleeve so it fits the current cymbal. I don't have tools to drill a cymbal... it's funny how the protective sleeve is the issue and how easy it...
