Re: Ludwig Black Cortex Kit 24" w/ concert toms

You might have better luck if you provide some more information on the kit like rum configuration/number of drums, number of plys in the shell (3-ply re-rings, or 6-ply), clear or granitone, some...

Re: Favourite era for Ludwig shells

I know this is a vintage forum, but today's era is the best for Ludwig IMO.

You can get 3-ply/re-ring featuring Mpl-P-Mpl or Mhg-P-Mhg or 6-ply Mpl-P-Mpl, heck if you go "age exotic" you can get...

Re: Ludwig Snare ID Help...

They guys got you zeroed in a date but it looks like a Coliseum snare that has a different throw-off and butt (although we don't get to see the butt pics). I'm thinking this may have came with a...

Re: Ludwig Classic Maple

Build...

Re: 60s Supraphonic Shootout!

I would just like to suggest that you maintain consistent playing in the same manner you are controlling the other variables for both snares.

Pick a selection from Wilcoxon, Reed or even Stone,...

Re: Ludwig P85 v P86 strainers

Sometimes the P-85 can hang-up when trying to engage, little oil (not WD-40) can fix it right up. Here's a link to a Pro Drum Shop tip with video:...
