Ahead has recently released two cases specifically for the Dynasonic. 5" and 6" depths. I have the latter and like it. It has a little channel for the snare frame and the funky Ahead not-quite-round...

The paper label does not have the serial number on the reissues. The "33" on the label is the model number. Good question about serial prefix -- no idea.
