Re: Rogers Super 10

I cannot positively date this drum, the D97xxxx tags are too random. Most likely 81-82/83 The bottom hoop will be hard to replace. Price... is on top end of 5x14 SuperTen snare drums.

Re: Rogers Holiday

This would have started in 60-63 as a Top Hat set up, 20-12-12-16 with snare. Cannot answer for most anything else, I don't know what the paper tags say, or the interior colors. Mardi Gras is far too...

Re: Rogers Big R Drums: Opinions

The early 75-79 five ply drums or the late 79-83 XP8 offerings were both quality drums that play very well. The XP8 also represent a rise in quality. Well cared for lacquer finishes of the period are...

Re: Dayton or Fullerton

Unless the interior has been repainted...……. the ghost of the tags will be evident. Big Tags... Dayton or early Fullerton... small tags...…….. 9/72 Fullerton.
The machined collet tensioner would...

Re: Recut Bearing Edges on Valuable Vintage drums?

Just how bad are they and who is doing the advice?

Yes. In all probability it will devalue the drums...especially when consideration is given to who is doing it. It may increase the value of the...

Re: Very early 7 line Rogerís Dynasonic! #1063

I am not certain of the lowest Powertone numbers. I have 1196, also Blue Ripple. As is Dyna-Sonic 1036. The Dyna-Sonic has some incorrect parts. Hoops, throw and frame are from the late 60's. Still...

Re: Rogers Big R snare
