Re: Zildjian 60's Heavy ride

I have a really heavy 60's 20" ride too. Great bell and tons of wash. Bell and ping sound a lot like my 70's 21" Rock 21. The Rock 21 has a lot less wash. The 20" gets a moongel most times to mute...

Re: Buying advice: Slingerland Radio King

Sounds a bit high for this one. If you end game is to replace the incorrect parts and make it original you'll spend a good $400+ to make that happen. So then your $1000 into it at that point. For...

Re: Which Rogers

The steel stick repair fix on B&B lugs is pretty solid. Mine have almost 4 years under constant tension with no changes or further cracking. I think they guy who came up with this fix has close to 10...

Re: Rogers Fullerton Green Label

Yes that could very well be. But it confirms Mikes explanation that some are faded. Still collecting facts and info. Like you said it'll likely take some time.

Re: Rogers Fullerton Green Label

Mike I think your right on the faded ink. This label was posted on FB. Brown ink faded to green. I've never seen ink fade like this. But here it is!

Re: Rogers Fullerton Green Label

I think it's more like no one really knows the answer yet? Almost 50 years ago since these were made. We'll have to give it some time and see if anyone else adds something. In the meantime enjoy...

Re: Another Rogers

Sure. Black ink is made of various color pigment resins. One of the most common is reflex blue which is a royal blue color. Depending on the shop and inks sometimes waste inks from other jobs were...

JR any change you could take a picture "straight on" in front square of the label. Not on a angle? Please? TY.

Re: Rogers Fullerton Green Label

Mike that's a interesting thought. Oil base inks were mainly used back then. The Rogers brown ink is a yellow, warm red and black mix of pantone colors. For sure the number was stamped after in...

Re: Slingerland Expertise Needed: Fair offer?
