Re: Picked up some Ludwig Drums for $100...what do I have?

The clip mount hole pattern should match the Ludwig 60s - 80's classic mount. So, no foul there.

Re: Keystone Badge Ludwig Down Beat Kit in White Marine Pearl

You really cannot compare a Jazz Festival to a DownBeat. However they are asking about twice as much as market value for that WMP Downbeat snare.

Re: Got these today on CL

The snare should be worth at least $25 - $50 if it is operational and not missing any parts. Depends if you need the money or can be a Good Sam and donate it.

Re: Please help me to identify the year and approx. value of Tama Imperialstars

I would agree that $600 is about it. So, you are basically giving away the concert toms. The value is in the Bass drum that seems to be missing parts, the snare and the floor tom.

Re: Is this a real Radio King?

It's has a radio king engraved hoop most likely from an RK tom drum. A Radio King snare drum would typically have 8 lugs and 1 ply maple shell. That drum has a mahogany inner ply and is most likely a...

Re: Vintage Fibes acrylic

Fibes acrylic drums sound great and those are classics. Fibes has a number engraved into the shell near the batter side beveled edge it's hard to find. Anyway, that should help you date them.

Re: Ludwig - Combo Snare Plastic Lugs 3qty

It's not historically accurate...but...You can always replace all 8 lugs with die-cast Ludwig Standard/Rocker or Bowtie lugs. Just sayin'

Re: Slingerland Radio King Concert Tom?

That appears to be an old wood timbale. A very nice little drum that appears to have been re-painted inside and out. Definitely a classic Slingy!

Re: '65 Pioneer lug screws w/ copper washers .?.

I have owned several Ludwig snare drums including Pioneer models and never have they had any copper fasteners, washers of any kind. I would say copper is not original to that drum.
