Re: I Want to Play Better

Actually JR I didn't think his advise was offensive or mean, just sh*tty. Telling you to stay put and be limited is no way to to take a step forward. That's sh*tty advice.

Anyway, You already...

Re: I Want to Play Better

Cindy,s not playing by the rules, there are none for freestyle. That's why tec. drummers often can't do it. Cindy's not keeping time at all. The bass player is outside having a cigarette, the guitar...

Re: Why Play Vintage?

Re: Why doesn't anyone reverse engineer old K's?

You would be kinda right. I do prefer the heaviest I can find. I know I would crack thin any cymbals in time. Keyhole them too. I'm used to them.

I'm actually not big on cymbal playing. Recently...

Re: Why doesn't anyone reverse engineer old K's?

Did you notice that those heavies are twice the cost of those beloved thin things ?

Heavies have a sound of there own when you play them heavy. I would seek heaviest K's because K's don't wash...

Re: How Do You Play? Matched or Traditional Grip?

Re: Latest trixon speedfire!!

I been following this project and the paint removal looks great. It's not a painted wrap now, it's simply wrap that got paint on it.

I like and play concert tom racks. Trixon owes you.

Re: Price shaming

If it was 400 dollars with no pitting you would have a thousand offers a day. Someone paying 8, will keep it that way.

Re: Price shaming

Fair enough if it had no pitting. If I were a collector or meticulous drummer with a mint kit looking for that mint supra to complete a mint condition set up, for show or playing,... I found the one...

Re: Price shaming

Not that I wish you were selling cars but I'm glad you don't. 800 is way up for a supra of any kind. There were like 5 or 6 ever made.

Can I ask what made your supra worth 800 dollars ? or. Am...

Re: Finish for Krylon paint job?

Krylon, like other paints comes with gloss, semi gloss, flat, maybe eggshell sheen. Gloss is always the hardest to work with, especially fast dry types. The gloss comes to the surface as the...

Re: improved Speed King re-issue: Ludwig NAMM 2020

My 70's SK has a three stroke float when I first lube it up and stays there for some time. So that's keeping it tight like I want it. Because of the new heel plate bearings, I may get one. My BD came...
