    Hello Backbeatkeeper,
I have a similar Camco snare of later LA vintage... simply wondering if your Camco snare has the same irregular snare-side bearing edge as the LA model 710 M...mine has two high points (and a change in bearing edge profile about 3 inches) roughly opposite and 90 degrees to the snare strainer.
Any ideas if this is normal?
    Thanks,
